The musical can be produced by Community Theatre Groups, College and University Theatre programs as well as High School Drama Departments. The materials available to put on the musical include the following:

The original production in New York had 4 male leads and 4 female leads with 3 female and 3 male non-speaking parts in the ensemble. 

The main stage production put on by Shenandoah University in addition to the 8 lead roles, has an additional 10 speaking parts and an ensemble of 8 non-speaking parts. The main stage production included these additional musical numbers: Victory March, Well Hello There and It’s A Lonesome Town Tonight.

Available as well is a Teachers Guide and Student Reference Manual: This is designed to present supplemental curriculum materials for Arts Education at the High School level.
