South Lake High School Groveland, Florida 5 Performances – May 7-15, 1999 South Lake High School is a combination of two rival schools. The Clermont Highlanders and the Groveland Greenbacks were consolidated to form one school. South Lake High School started out with approximately 1100 students, 700 from Clermont and 400 from Groveland. The school started operation in August of 1993 and has grown to about 1,800 students.
