The Kirkcaldy Youth Theatre is a member of the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA). The SCDA is a voluntary organization founded in 1926. It works to promote all aspects of community theatre in Scotland. The SCDA offers a wide range of opportunities to youth, including One Act Festivals of Drama, Youth Workshops and Courses, Network of Youth Drama, and New Writing for Youth Clubs.

Producer reaction: “The production team thoroughly enjoyed
working with the material. Well written and nicely formed characters. It was
straight forward to rehearse and stage”.
Cast reaction: “They enjoyed it! In particular they loved the
Big Band sound from the orchestra which lifted their singing tremendously.
They also enjoyed researching costumes and hair styles”.
